Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-25
By using Thruit (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. The Service is operated by Jeremy Adams (imjeremyadams@gmail.com), a sole proprietor.
Beta status
Thruit is in beta. The Service may have bugs, may go offline without notice, and may lose data. We make no uptime guarantees during beta. Do not use Thruit for highly sensitive content (legal proceedings, M&A negotiations, HR disciplinary matters, anything subject to regulatory data-residency rules).
Your account
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You may not share your account or use one account for multiple individuals.
- We may suspend accounts that are abusive (see “Acceptable use” below).
Your content
- You own your meeting audio, transcripts, and any content you create or that is generated from your inputs.
- You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content via Deepgram, Anthropic, Supabase, Fly.io, and Vercel for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you.
- You may export everything via git clone at any time.
Acceptable use
You may not use Thruit to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to record (e.g., recording someone without their knowledge or consent in jurisdictions that require it).
- Upload illegal content, including content that violates intellectual property, defamation, or harassment laws.
- Attempt to compromise the Service's security or integrity (e.g., probing endpoints beyond your own workspace, attempting to access other users' data).
- Resell or sublicense access to other parties without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation, with reasonable notice when possible.
Pricing during beta
Beta users receive Thruit Pro features at no cost during the beta period and, as a thank-you for early feedback, free Thruit Pro tier indefinitely after beta ends. Pricing for new (non-beta) users will be announced when the beta concludes.
No warranties
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by emailing us. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. After termination, we will retain your data for up to 30 days to allow recovery, then delete it (or sooner upon your request).
Changes
We may update these terms when product or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date and email beta users about material changes. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
